Nemours is seeking a TeleImaging Manager (Enterprise Imaging Informatics), to join our team in either Wilmington, Delaware or Orlando, Florida.

As the birthplace of the Nemours healthcare system, the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Del. honors our legacy of delivering exceptional care to the children of the Delaware Valley and beyond. Ranked among the nation’s best pediatric hospitals by U.S. News & World Report and honored with the ANCC’s Magnet Designation for excellence in nursing practice, we offer intensive and acute inpatient and outpatient services covering more than 30 pediatric specialties. In October, we will complete a multi-phase hospital expansion that will include new inpatient rooms, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department. Additionally, Nemours duPont Pediatrics allows us to reach more children across the region through community-based physician services and collaborative partnerships with health and hospital systems.

The Teleimaging Manager is responsible for development and growth of the Nemours Teleimaging program by establishing and maintaining external Teleimaging partnerships as well as assuring the efficient delivery of Teleimaging services to Nemours partners. This individual will serve as the liaison between Nemours and its Teleimaging customers and as such, plays a prominent role in all aspects of service delivery.  Teleimaging mandates a strong collaborative effort among the organization’s staff, IT colleagues, vendors and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, access available applications and technologies, develop detailed specifications, and evaluate and recommend solution options. This individual ensures that internal relationships are maintained and that all dependent aspects of the organization are working seamlessly to deliver Teleimaging services.  As part of the Nemours Enterprise Imaging Informatics leadership team this person will effectively participates in leadership discussions to develop departmental goals, standards, policies and project prioritization, including budgeting and resource planning.  In addition, as an Teleimaging Manager this individual will partner with the Clinical and Business  leadership teams to oversee the financial and quality performance of Teleimaging services.


  • Understands the organization’s business goals and objectives. Knows how to use operational and IT processes to ensure appropriate solutions are implemented. 

  • Contribute to the development of annual application strategies, budgets, and plans.

  • Maintains a current detailed understanding of strategic business initiatives and how they relate to organizational goals and objectives. 

  • Ensures that as projects are implemented, the organization’s strategic initiatives are among the constant drivers and project guidelines.

  • Displays exceptional customer service abilities and serves as a positive representation of Nemours when relating to partners and meeting service needs and requests.

  • Demonstrates strong multitasking skills displaying the ability to manage staff, many tasks and daily operation; providing collaborative direction to members of the team as needed.

  • Utilizes continuous improvement methodology and implements process improvements to assist Teleimaging providers to gain efficiency in Teleimaging service delivery. 

  • Assists in the management of project resources, both human and monetary. 

  • Identify resource short falls and communicates with Clinical and Business leadership. 

  • Makes recommendations for resource changes or enhancements where appropriate. 

  • Assists in the allocation of project resources appropriately for cost effective implementations and application utilization.

  • Organizes, facilitates, and coordinates the activities of multiple project teams in collaboration with operational and informatics work groups and leadership.

  • Assists in the development of new Teleimaging use cases working as a liaison between the Teleimaging / telehealth teams, business development partners, operational managers, providers, coding, credentialing, and other Nemours departments as necessary.

  • Collaborates in the creation and maintenance Teleimaging policies and procedures for the organization.

  • Partners with business leadership to ensure the integrity of the revenue cycle as it relates to teleimaging services.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Strong imaging and clinical applications informatics knowledge.  Serves as a key stakeholder in the management of  PACS systems, EMR, and related imaging applications.

  • Conducts regularly scheduled team meetings, maintaining communication among team members.

  • Facilitates/participates in departmental meetings as defined.

  • Provides status updates and reports to management team regarding departmental projects and initiatives.

  • Manages external vendor relationships.

  • Acts as a constructive change agent and role model for operational and non-operational team members.

  • Maintains awareness of healthcare trends and information technology and makes recommendations for technology advancements and process improvements.

  • A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. If selected candidate does not have their Bachelors, incumbent must commit to obtaining the degree within a predetermined time period.

  • 3-5 years of managing large revenue, capital and operating intensive radiology operations or radiology informatics, experience in managing collaborative joint ventures preferred

  • C.R.A Certified Radiology Administrator preferred.
