Edelman Intelligence – Primary Research Manager

We are looking for a dynamic Research Manager to manage and help grow the EI business on the East Coast. We are looking for someone that has expertise in both quantitative and qualitative Primary Research methodologies conducted on a global scale. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing all aspects of research studies from screener, survey and discussion guide development, survey programming, fieldwork, data quality assurance, data analysis to delivering PowerPoint slides. This role will be very visible within the organization so the right candidate will have gravitas and customer service skills combined with technical and operational expertise to work with all levels of the organization. Proper planning skills, a high degree of customer and team collaboration and a high attention to detail is expected and critical for success in this role. Some experience with Secondary Research tools and advanced statistical techniques (regression, cluster analysis, etc.) is preferred.
Breakdown of work is approximately 70% execution (survey/guide development, analysis, reporting); 15% CRM (presentations, strategy sessions, etc.); 15% new business development (pitch preparation, proposal writing, etc.)
