Oversees and administers the credit risk management of the institution's commercial loan portfolios. Develops, revises and executes loan policies and procedures. Provides advice and guidance on policies, as well as unusual loan relationships.
Assists in the administration of the institution's commercial loan portfolios as to credit risk management loan considerations to maintain quality control and minimize losses.
Coordinates the development or revisions of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory processes. Executes loan policies and ensures that deviations from policy are properly reported.
Assists in the review and interpretation of new pending laws and regulations that potentially affect the organization's business practices. Reviews lending policies quarterly to ensure regulatory statutes are met.
Reviews allowance for loan and lease loss analysis and makes recommendations regarding provision expense and adequacy of the ALLL account. Prepares materials concerning credit risk for monthly meetings of the Credit Review Committee, board and senior staff.
Analyzes loan data on new, renewal and existing loans, including data provided by credit bureaus, other financial institutions and financial institution files.
Consults with service lending department managers on complex or unusual loan relationships.
Engages in appraisal activity which includes engagement and scope assignments, selection and dismissal of appraisers, appraiser E & O policy and license updates and general compliance.
Creates and maintains montyhly and quarterly reports.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of coursework and work experience.
Ten to 12 years of progressively responsible, directly related work experience, including credit policy analysis and regulatory practices.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Experienced in credit analysis, cash flow reports, and financial statement analysis
Strong management experience.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening).
Detail-oriented and well-organized.
Knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures.
