As Customer Service and Logistics Professional you will be responsible to process Trade Customer Orders; support CPFR, Sales, and Transportation to drive for supply chain efficiencies; and collaborate with trade and internal customers to attain agreed upon objectives. Manage and support internal/external customer order-to-cash relationships.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.  These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • •    Provides efficient, accurate order processing & fulfillment of an assigned account base and acts as a liaison between the customer, CPFR/Sales, and internal departments. 
    •    Checking and solving potential issues between client purchase orders (PO) and system information; audit customer expected pricing; ensuring compliance with GSK’s policies and procedures and attaining agreed upon corporate objectives.
    •    Communicating inventory constraints and surpluses to trade customer.
    •    Organize and consolidate LTL shipments into truckloads or ‘ship withs’ to increase truck optimization 
    •    Interpret carrier capabilities, lead time cycles and customer receiving practices to deliver goods as efficiently as possible while meeting customer and GSK on time delivery metrics.
    •    Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery/OTIF requirements. 
    •    Assist transportation planners in resolving issues and communicating to appropriate parties as necessary to ensure efficient management of the delivery process to the customer. 
    •    Solving issues regarding damaged goods, shipment delayed, etc 
    •    Analyze existing order to ship processes for possible improvements.
    •    Manage customer refusals and returns.
    •    Prepare and analyze logistic related customer scorecard metrics and participate in scorecard presentations with customer as required.
    •    Report and validate data to support customer service and transportation activities and support GSK KPI’s and customer scorecard requirements.
    •    Responsible for an additional level of complexity in the areas of Supply Chain, Finance and Logistics 
    •    Offers solutions to assigned customer accounts by providing services based upon specific customer initiatives. 
    •    Review and clear deductions related to penalties, OS&D and vendor compliance chargebacks.
    •    Coordinate with CPFR Analysts and CPFR/Customer Service Management to execute to the agreed upon inventory allocation quantities for stock constrained items.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • •    Bachelor’s Degree (business, supply chain or finance is preferred. 
    •    Relevant experience in customer service and or supply chain
    •    Proficient in ERP supply chain systems, preferably SAP
    •    Proficient in PC/MS Office skills (especially MS Excel)
    •    Must possess analytical skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to handle stress well. 

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • •    Previous experience in Customer Supply Chain/ Order Management 
    •    Strong communication skills with excellent inter-personal skills. 
    •    Ability to perform the duties related to order processing, invoicing, credit/debit memos, claims and deductions. 
    •    Capacity for developing an understanding of cash application, logistics and sales. 
    •    High motivation and willingness to learn 
    •    Ability to work under time pressure 
    •    Familiarity with SAP

  • Spanish fluency preferred, written and verbal
