Responsible for the overall management of the Social Development Department to ensure staff and student success. Provides oversight of student counseling services and individual student case management to ensure student progress, retention and completion of the Job Corps program. Provides direction and supervision to Social Development management staff, to include Social Development Manager, Center Shift Manager/Supervisor, Dorm Supervisors, Recreation Manager/Supervisor and Safety/Security Manager/Supervisor. Responsible to provide students with a safe and structured living environment that fosters student retention, satisfaction, achievement and success. Provides direction and supervision of non-class hour activities to enhance students’ independent living and employability skills. Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school required. Master’s degree from an accredited school preferred. A minimum of two years experience in counseling or related field. A minimum three years experience in program management and direction with a substantial experience working with youth. Department of Labor approval required.

Supervises and manages the Social Development Department. May be assigned Acting Center Director in Center Director’s absence.
