Job Description:

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following…

  • Establish and maintain forecast for Vaccines brands and products, based on industry-best practices, using industry-standard tools for enhanced efficiency and reliability, and in close collaboration with Finance, Market Intelligence, and other functions. This role requires strong quantitative/ financial modelling skills, sound methodological and conceptual understanding, as well as experience in forecasting, market intelligence, and finance.

  • Establish, document, and maintain USP Forecast/ Latest Estimate, Long-Range Forecast, as well as Consensus forecast and Commercial forecast

  • Maintain SKU level forecasts for all brands across portfolio (including Puerto Rico)

  • Support the Core Commercial Cycle (CCC) through the monthly LE process and CERPS loads

  • Ensure accuracy of forecasts through industry standard accuracy and bias metrics; identify corrective actions as appropriate

  • Articulate and document assumptions and risks in suitable repository and for select stakeholder information and alignment; lead forecast and projection efforts for launch planning

  • Support US financial submissions and quarterly earnings call, as needed

  • Collaborate with other staff within the Forecasting & Marketing Mix Analytics function in modeling, visualizing, and pressure-testing scenarios, projections, and assumptions

  • Potentially develop and lead small team of forecasting professionals to be recognized as top-tier in the industry; Provide hands-on coaching and direction to forecasters

  • Collaborate and partner effectively with various stakeholders across the enterprise, including Marketing, Sales, Payer, Digital, Finance, and Technology teams; respond to senior management requests

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Graduate degree in Business (MBA), in Science (M.Sc) – incl. Statistics, Computer Sciences and Operations Research, or in Finance/ Economics (M. Econ.) or related.  BA/BS considered with appropriate applicable work experience.

  • 5+ years of professional experience, full-time employment, of which the most recent three years at GSK, in a peer company of GSK’s, or in leading global management consulting firm, with focus on Forecasting, Finance or other analytics role

  • Methodological hands-on proficiency of relevant financial and analytical approaches and models

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Understanding of the business impact of diversity & inclusion

  • Knowledge and experience in Vaccines

  • Strong communication and presentation skills as evidenced through impactful senior management presentations, conference presentations, and/ or publications

  • Proven and advanced collaboration skills, and cultural sensitivity

  • Strong business acumen

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior commercial leadership and confidently defend informed recommendations

  • Ability to work effectively across a matrix environment and influence without formal authority

  • Ability to lead through change and inspire agility/flexibility amongst team
