Space Coast Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a Business Service Advisor servicing our South Brevard and Indian River county markets.
As a Business Service professional you will work to meet the deposit needs of our members who are business owners. In this role you will be working collaboratively with the retail branches to help busy people secure the products and services they need to effectively and efficiently run their business.
The Business Service Advisor will be the liaison between SCCU and the business members we currently serve with a primary goal to deepen and broaden these relationships. You will also seek to develop additional business deposit relationships primarily from within our current consumer membership.
The Business Service Advisor will focus on effectively engaging our retail partners to help identify potential business account holders. Ideal candidates will also need to work collaboratively with our branch network to deepen the relationships we have with existing business account holders.
Other Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:
Serves as the primary resource for assigned region of retail branches for all business services matters including: deposit accounts, lending and ancillary services.Drives business service referral activity from assigned retail branches.
Develops business relationships and effectively communicates to pursue leads, close business, and cross-sell commercial business services together with non-business services.Strives to achieve deposit and loan growth goals as well as ancillary service referrals based on established monthly expectations.
Works to develop and expand awareness of SCCU’s business deposit services throughout our retail branch network while looking for cross-selling opportunities.
Required day-to-day customer service for established business accounts, responding accurately, and on a timely basis to member business requests.
Develops and maintains business relationships with local business owners.
Prepares and delivers effective sales and product presentations to new and existing business relationships.Will also create presentations to SCCU staff to increase awareness of our offerings.
Education and Training:
Four-year College or University diploma (bachelor's degree) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail banking or financial services back office functions.
Other Special Skills and Abilities:
Valid Florida Driver’s license and good driving record.
Strong financial analysis skills.
Effective public speaking and/or sales presentations skills.
Proficiency with word processing, graphics, spreadsheets, and database management systems. Ability to write reports, analyze data, and make recommendations.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, persuasion, and sales skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to ensure complete understanding and comprehension of the intent and content of communications.
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
High School or equivalency.
