Job Description:




The Accounting Technician is responsible for assisting with the input of Cash Book and AR entries into the Lawson financial software, ensuring that the client payments are routed to the appropriate department and the CashBook front desk. The position is also responsible for the Admin petty cash, distribution and tracking of LCI receipts and bank account reconciliations. Specifically, the position is responsible for: Receipt of all LCI funds and processing deposits for LCI, WFCCC and HUD. Processing of onsite deposits. Custodian of Admin petty cash. Input/upload of monthly LCI Cash Book and AR entries into Lawson. Regions bank downloads/uploads (LCI, WFCCC and HUD s). Bank reconciliations (operating accounts). Flexible spending reconciliation. Process credit card payments (Client call in payments and GCE vendor payments). Mailing of Flexible checks and direct deposit notices. Back-up positive pay exceptions and ACH alerts. Order office supplies, manage expense. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.


* High School diploma or GED equivalent.

* Two (2) years combined college level courses in Accounting/Business and/or applicable experience.

* Proficient in the use of an adding machine required.

* Computer experience required. Microsoft Excel experience required
