DESCRIPTION
ROLE SUMMARY

Cox Media is looking for a collaborative and well-organized individual to play a pivotal role in partnering with cross-functional teams to build and prepare innovative client solutions and assist with new product launches in the marketplace. Reporting to the Digital Sales Manager, this role will work closely with the Atlanta Product Team to ensure the market is ready to accept new products. They will be the local product expert, and will work closely with their local sales, sales services and marketing teams to ensure all areas are ready for launch and fulfillment.
The Product Specialist coordinates and troubleshoots the acquisition and fulfillment of digital advertising orders for local accounts with moderate to high revenue potential. Working with local Sales and Sales Services team members this position ensures digital orders are fulfilled and serviced properly. This role will work closely with local cross-functional teams on training and development to grow client adoption of new and existing products.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Development of Client Solutions
Collaborate with Digital Sales Manager, assigned sales consultants and marketing strategists to develop client solutions, determine client product mix, develop proposals and presentations, and complete production agreements.

Partner with Digital Sales Manager and Sales Services team members for order entry and revision instructions, fulfilling makegood requests, and managing client requests.

Responsible for solving internal and external customer problems, partnering with other internal departments and outside vendors as necessary.

Drive Business Growth
Strategize with Digital Sales Manager to increase revenue generation as it aligns with the client solution.

Monitor key business reports to gauge the successful fulfillment and performance of client contracts. Initiate and take action as needed to engage sales and sales services in modifications, changes, and/or client notifications.

Drive Product Launches and Adoption
Work closely with the Atlanta Product Team to learn and become the expert in new and existing products end to end.

Provide key training for initial launch and continued education to local Sales, Sales Services, Marketing and Production team members to ensure the local market is fully engaged with all products.

Measure effectively the growth of product adoption among the local client base.

Facilitate Digital Fulfillment Activities
Based on revenue potential/growth, facilitate fulfillment or fulfill digital media products using the appropriate fulfillment processes and systems.

Analyze and update current reports, track current orders, review trends in fulfillment and performance, inventory availability and supply end of month campaign results.

Work with internal partners to obtain information or to inform them about schedule changes.

Work with Sales Services to ensure insertion orders are submitted to the appropriate vendors, entered into online system per instructions, approved and corrected if necessary.

Troubleshoot IOs submitted, offering expertise on creative, as neededQUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM

* 5+ years of experience required in related field (i.e. Product, Sales, preferably in the digital advertising or media industry). 3+ years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree (MS/MBA or above).
* 1 year experience specific to digital advertising
* Experience supporting the launch of new products.
* Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
* Highly organized with attention to details.
* Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.

PREFERRED

* BS/BA in related discipline strongly preferred (i.e. Marketing, Business, Advertising etc.).
