We are currently looking for Forklift Operators to work on 2nd shift, 3:30PM - Midnight + OT (schedule subject to change based on operational needs) in our Joliet, IL warehouse.
Forklift Operators are responsible for various job duties within the warehouse/distribution center.
These duties include, but are not limited to; assembly of product, forklift operation, order picking, packing, loading and unloading, RF scanning of product. Applicants must be able to work safely and productively within the warehouse environment. To provide high quality service to our customers through safe, efficient, damage free, cost effective and accurate storage and handling.
Operates forklifts within a warehouses environment in a safe, productive manner.
Performs warehouse functions including order picking, packing, loading/unloading trucks, assembly of product, etc.
Follows company procedures and policies to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Works safely and cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
Assists in cycle counts, auditing and physical inventories.
Insure that the facility is maintained in a clean, neat and orderly fashion.
Additional duties assigned by supervisor.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
1-year warehouse experience.
2-3 years of forklift experience (i.e. sit-down, standup, reach, slip sheet, clamp, epj, etc.)
Must maintain productivity and accuracy standards.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a non-temperature controlled warehouse (meaning the indoor temperature fluctuates through each season). The warehouse floor is concrete and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
