The National Clinical Development Specialist is responsible for initiating and maintaining communications with Healthcare providers in new and existing markets to develop strategic partnerships and alliances. This would include, but not be limited to, developing partnerships for existing and new programs and clinical/externship support. Success in this position is dependent upon developing and maintaining a sufficient quantity of clinical experience locations/positions available to all students in all programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts phone outreach on behalf of programs: set up and deliver presentations to healthcare organizations to determine clinical site capacity and assess protntial for partnership
Manage, as necessary, the clinical agreement process from beginning to final approval and execution.
Develops relationships with health organizations in potential markets:
Oversees the development of clinical affiliation agreements and other types of written support as necessary for proposed and existing programs at all campuses
Identifies potential strategic opportunities market intelligence. Including proposal of solutions, resources needed and available by each stakeholder and program ideas.
Builds positive relationship with many groups of internal and external stakeholders.
Works with various healthcare associations in markets where Concorde has existing approval as well as where Concorde is seeking approval to establish support and introductions to potential partners
Assists in development of faculty pool for clinical instruction in each market, as required.
Communicates closely and proactively with campus Clinical Coordinators as site needs are identified
May require travel up to 50% to target markets for the purpose of partnership development

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Below are the minimum requirements of the education, experience, knowledge. and skills required to competently perform in this position.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred
- Experience is preferred in the area of private post-secondary higher education institutions focused on allied health careers, community relations, and public relations
- Minimum 3 years of business development work experience
- Clinical or other healthcare experience a plus
- Prior sales experience required, healthcare product or service sales a plus
- Intermediate MS Office and internet skills required
- Excellent communication and coaching skills professional
