The candidate will be working with partners, other lawyers and colleagues firm-wide to further the business development, knowledge management, profile-raising and growth objectives for certain corporate finance and transactional practices. Will be helping lead the formulation and execution of marketing and strategic plans that address the business development goals and needs of the practice group and individual partners. Overseeing development and maintenance of brochures, lawyer biographies and web content. Tracking deals; helping ensure matters are reported to league tables and publications. Preparing and managing responses to requests for proposals and pitch materials. Providing market research and identifying opportunities to increase revenue and enhance profitability. Drafting articles and e-communications; and collaborating on conferences and events. Must have strong understanding of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and/or the energy industry. Exposure to Marketing or Business Development disciplines is a plus. "This is one of the largest law firms in Texas.
