The Director of Business Integration acts as a partner between the System Revenue Cycle Management Team and Ambulatory Service business operations. This position will develop and maintain an ongoing relationship with the functional revenue cycle leaders at both the System Office and with Regional leadership. The Director will communicate information regarding revenue cycle business integration projects and operational process improvement initiatives.
In addition, the Director of Business Integration will partner with IM to facilitate development and execution of project work plans for RCBS related initiatives. As needed, the position will actively proactively work on revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements of clinic operations. This position will act as a crucial business partner with internal teams to ensure timelines and quality of deliverables are met, capture plan deviation and lead discussion for alternative actions, give guidance to business leaders, and provide a smooth transition to operations
A. Education and Training:
* 4 Year college degree or equivalent professional billing leadership experience required. * Bachelor's degree in Health Administration or Business desired.
* 5+ years direct, progressively responsible supervisory experience, preferably in a multi-site/multi-state environment, necessary to gain full understanding of billing, credit and collection functions, financial analysis and third party payer procedures. * Minimum of five years progressive work experience in professional billing revenue cycle related area preferred. * Travel and flexibility in work schedule with occasional weekend / evening work required.
C. Technical Skills:
* An ability to develop and maintain relationships with a variety of health care providers and professionals, as well as an ability to manage multiple projects with a variety of time-lines. * A comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of issues related to Revenue Cycle activities is required. * Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office -- Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access and Adobe Products. * Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to present and explain information to executive level staff. * Must be able to handle sensitive, stressful and confidential situations and account information. * Ability to prioritize and handle tasks in a dynamic work environment. * Produce reports and develop presentations to communicate results effectively. Highly developed customer service skills with the ability to remove barriers to change using strong change management skills. * Must be able to function in a team-oriented, deadline- and production-driven work environment.
