Would you like to play a significant role in driving the strategy for assets across the development spectrum as GSK prepares to re-enter the Global Oncology market? You will have significant interaction with senior leadership of Oncology, Cell Therapy, and Pharma during the company’s emergence as a leader in the utilization of cell therapies in the treatment of solid tumors.
Reporting to the Head of Oncology Cell Therapy Commercial Strategy, this newly created role of Marketing Director will play a key role in the strategic development of commercial operations and capabilities to support GSK’794 and conduct commercial evaluations of other cell therapy medicines within the development pipeline.
In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues from across functions and geographies to co-create the brand vision, strategy, and commercial operating model for cell therapies.
Under the direction of the Head of the Oncology Franchise and the Head of Oncology Cell Therapy Commercial Strategy, you will play a key role in the preparation of the global strategic plan, generating key HCP, patient, payer, and market insights and translating them into a 5-year strategic vision.
Your role be the key interface between R&D and commercial and will lead the commercial input into the ongoing evidence generation strategy, the development of Target Medicine Profiles (TMPs), and will help develop mid-term and long-term lifecycle management strategies.
You will be the commercial lead for various cell therapy programs, a key member of the GSK’794 Medicine Commercialization Team, and a core member of the Cell Therapy Strategic Working Group. You will ensure that project teams have strong and clear input from commercial regarding development strategy and ensure commercial considerations are embedded in R&D development plans in order to build the foundation for successful launch and enable the delivery of transformational medicines to patients.
You will also have key responsibilities in the interface with key collaboration partners. Further this role will require working closely with R&D and Business Development in the identification and assessment of potential external partnerships and/or acquisitions to further advance and make more robust the Oncology Cell Therapy pipeline.
• Because you hold a Bachelor’s Degree
• Because you have 8 years of marketing experience, with 5 years of oncology marketing experience (with recent experience over the last 3 years).
• You have 2 or more years of country-level marketing
• You have broad commercial experience including commercial input to medicine development plans
• Because you have a deep understanding of the R&D process
• You have strong stakeholder management experience with clear evidence of effective collaboration with R&D teams, and a demonstrated ability to engage external thought leaders to generate actionable strategic insights
• You bring a strong business acumen, including forecasting inputs, tactical planning, and performance assessment
