Under minimal supervision of the President of the technical college, plans, administers and evaluates institutional services to include facilities management, building and ground maintenance, and information technology services. Responsible for creating and maintaining a strategic technology and campus operations focus to meet the needs of all college units and aid in more efficient delivery of services to customers. Works closely with the campus leadership team to facilitate achievement of services, goals and objectives. Works with the campus leadership team to provide facility, technology, and campus security and solutions. Formulates, develops, and implements programs and services, policies, standards, and activities in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, policies and procedures
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in business, management, information technology, or related field *and* five (5) years full time paid work experience within the past seven years. Three years of work experience must have been in a supervisory capacity. Skill in planning and organizing projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build strong campus wide linkages. Ability to work with multiple units to achieve results. Skill in problem solving. Knowledge of budget and accounting practices. Skill in analyzing data and situations for accurate assessment.
Doctorate degree in business administration, business management, information technology, construction management or a related field. Senior Leadership experience in postsecondary education. Three years of paid work experience within the past seven years overseeing facilities and information technology functions in a multiple site business or education environment. In addition to the minimum qualifications, knowledge of information technology hardware and software systems, campus operations/facilities best practices, strategic planning, and budgeting. Proven leadership and the ability to build high performance teams. Proven ability to work across departments and divisions to achieve desired results.
