Our Quality Assurance (QA) team provides world-class automation and quality improvement. They rise to the challenge of testing multiple unique releases, impacting UPSers and customers alike. About this role:

The Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst provides mentorship and expertise in technologies and processes for Information Services (I.S.) Quality Assurance (QA). He/She maintains an awareness of emerging technologies to ensure a competitive advantage.  This position automates test scenarios and expected outcomes. He/She provides expertise for UPS key business functions and supporting technologies. This position applies a comprehensive knowledge of technical skills, principles, practices, and procedures of testing methodologies and working knowledge in planning, designing, and conducting QA reviews and inspections. He/She conducts comprehensive testing and risk-based assessments of the testing objects. This position uses source documentation as input and contributes to the planning and implementation of testing activities.

The candidate must not only possess, but apply fundamental Quality Assurance (QA) testing processes with moderate to minimal guidance. This includes developing test conditions and expected results; executing tests using manual and automated tools; analyzing test results to verify requirements are met; and identifying and documenting defects. In addition, this person must have the ability to provide test activities estimates, capture test metrics, and report test results. This position reports to the Applications Development Manager and QA Lead.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Advanced experience with HP Quality Center (QC), Microsoft Office
  • Intermediate-level proficiency with HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Microsoft Team Foundational Server (TFS), SQL Language
  • Beginner-level proficiency with Agile Development and HP Loadrunner
  • Attention to detail, Initiative, Multitasking, excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
