Job Description: Description: The Senior Project Manager is responsible for designing and leading projects associated within delivery system planning. This role may manage specific aspects of one or more projects/programs. Includes the planning and tracking of projects (both tactical and strategic), cost effectiveness, communication, risk analysis, quality assurance, team and vendor management, and implementation of highly visible, sensitive and multi-faceted projects. Identifies and resolves issues related to projects. Ensures assigned projects are delivered within scope, schedule, budget and quality levels are consistent with partner/customer expectations.
Manages large complex projects, including meeting facilitation, workplan and timeline creation, project issue resolution, and other core facets of project management
Utilizes best-practice program management approaches to deliver against approved estimates for quality on-time and on-budget programs and programs.
Works independently on planning and operational analysis issues requiring proficient to advanced knowledge of analytical techniques, processes and standards
Effectively deploys and organizes resources, developing timetables and targets and checking progress against them.
Constantly seeks ways of improving existing quality assurance tools and processes.
Develops and analyzes program interdependencies in order to effectively structure and manage complex programs and understand potential impacts.
Designs strategically aligned approaches by identifying operational and strategic implications throughout program work.
Influences and facilitates stakeholder groups to resolve operational/planning issues that impact the broader KPMAS region. Leads the process with internal and external DSP stakeholder groups for problem resolution.
Able to structure and write more complex documents, including presentations, memos, business cases and strategies with guidance.
Builds effective networks of internal and external subject matter expert contacts
Ensures high-quality, timely and accurate deliverables.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications: Experience
Minimum seven (7) years of experience in project management, program management, or management consulting.
Minimum three (3) years of with medical facilities operations and or facilities planning. Education
Bachelor's degree in an applicable business or clinical discipline required. License, Certification, Registration
Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred.
Advanced knowledge and application of project management principles and skills.
Advanced ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal and oral/written communications skills.
Demonstrates executive presence and highly proficient at presenting material with C-suite leaders.
Adept at working with clients at all levels and can recognize difficult situations and seek assistance.
Strong conflict resolution skills.
Experience working on and leading cross-functional teams.
Strong customer focus and perspective.
Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
