An accounts payable clerk provides both administrative and financial support in a corporate environment by processing accounts payable transactions and monitoring payment processing in order to make sure that the department operates smoothly, accurately, and effectively.

* Verify approval on all invoices and check requests

* Knowledge of general ledger expense accounts

* Able to prepare and process checks for multi companies

* Able to process invoices using 3-way match

* Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) experience

* Update and maintain vendor database

* Able to process and enter 300-500 invoices per week

* Audits and verifies expense reports

* Reconciles vendor statements

* Process and follow-up on rush items

* Maintains account payable files

Position Requirements

* 2+ years Accounts Payable experience

* Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) experience

* Minimum of 10,000 KSPH

* Able to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner

* Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative

* Able to meet deadlines

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Excellent organizational and analytical skills

* Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative


* High school diploma required, college degree or courses in accounting preferred
