The Senior Systems Engineer is a critical and valuable part of our team. This position will research, design, implement and support complex IT Servers and Systems. Technical expert in IT systems specializing in one or more specific technology area ( Infrastructure Application , Network, Server Operating Systems, Desktop Operating Systems, Virtualization, Directory Services, E-mail, Disaster Recovery, Security, Antivirus, Storage Management, Print Management, Hardware Management, Mobile Device Management, Application Deployment, PKI, ) in a wide variety of technologies (i.e., software and/or hardware) and maintain high degree of awareness about emerging technologies and advise IT management as well as provide expert advice and engineer repeatable processes relating to deployment, support and maintenance of all areas of expertise. This could include some project management of internal projects.


Minimum Education Requirements
Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience may be substituted for the degree.

Preferred Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience may be substituted for the degree on a year for year basis.

Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements
Advanced knowledge of enterprise environments and ability to engineer solutions to include but not limited to: Server Operating Systems, Desktop Operating Systems, Virtualization, Directory Services, E-mail, Disaster Recovery, Security, Antivirus, Storage Management, Print Management, Hardware Management, Mobile Device Management, Application Deployment, PKI, and DNS. Ability to understand complex systems and IT protocols. Ability to integrate the most complex hardware and software systems. Ability to constantly adapt, learn and support new technologies. Assume full ownership/responsibility of assigned responsibilities and delivers services guidelines with little or no supervision. Strong technical and analytical skills required in solving complex systems infrastructure issues.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills

Minimum Experience Requirements
10 or more years of progressive IT experience. Minimum of 7 years of experience researching, designing, implementing and maintaining IT infrastructure systems. Minimum of 3 years of experience engineering for large complex enterprise environment with responsibility for at least one major system.

Preferred Experience
10 or more years of experience in web application management in a Unix environment (Solaris and RHEL 7 years of experience preferred).

· 8 or more years of experience with Apache configuration management and troubleshooting

· 3 or more years of experience with Ngnix as a reverse proxy

· 5 or more years of experience with Tomcat configuration management for Spring Boot services

· Prior experience with F5 and SSO technology

· 2 or more years of experience with Docker and Infrastructure as Code

· 2 years of experience with Ansible; running and validating playbooks

· Prior experience with Jenkins or CircleCI
