We are seeking a motivated and eager Intern to work with the Procurement Team as a Structural Procurement Intern As an intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience and exposure to the day-to-day operations. The Structural Procurement Intern will support the procurement team in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services for structural engineering projects. This role provides valuable hands-on experience in procurement processes, supplier management, and project coordination.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in identifying and evaluating suppliers for structural materials and services.


• Support the preparation and issuance of purchase orders.


• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project needs and specifications.


• Help maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts and purchase orders.


• Participate in supplier negotiations and contract discussions under supervision.


• Analyze supplier performance and assist in developing relationships with key vendors.


• Support inventory management and tracking of materials.


• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and industry trends.


• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to procurement activities.

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
