Who are we looking for?
We're looking for an NEBA Lead to join our Business Advisory team. This is a leadership role responsible for developing a Center of Excellence for delivering NEBA and economic solutions regarding ecosystem valuation in the Americas region and globally. The role involves working with clients, markets, and internal teams to identify, design, and implement projects that provide multiple benefits for people and nature.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
Define a go-to market NEBA strategy for successful roll out across the Americas
Provide subject matter support for ecological evaluations for NRDA projects
Connect across markets, service lines and geographies to leverage GHD's best position to grow market share in the NEBA and NRDA space
Advocate for and elevate GHD in the NEBA space through support/encouragement of staff, aligned thought leadership & market presence (conference attendance, client information sessions, etc.)
Collaborate with Service Lines to access skills matrices and keep current
Assess market trends to set course for longer-horizon NEBA strategy (>12 months ahead)
Design and deliver outcomes, value propositions and service offerings to clients for NEBA and other sustainability initiatives
Create and share content (e.g. case studies, webinars, etc.) to demonstrate the benefits and impacts of NEBA and other sustainability initiatives for input in proposals, showcasing GHD's thought leadership and value proposition
Tracking of initiatives in Salesforce
Regular meetings with Global peers, Market Leaders, Service Line Leaders and Client Relationship Managers to support NEBA growth and brand awareness
Demonstrate brand presence and uplift in the market via relevant social media outlets and thought leadership
Establish relationships with external practitioners in the sustainability field
What you will bring to the team:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science or Applied Science with a focus on Environment, Biology, Sustainability, Natural Resources, Water Resources or similar
Minimum of 15 years' experience in environmental consulting
Demonstrated experience in interdisciplinary client service delivery
Experience with leading an environmental business and demonstrated market growth
Experience with strategic planning
Strong business acumen
