The starting salary may be negotiable above this range, however, it will be dependent upon the knowledge, experience, skills, and abilities of the chosen candidate, the budget of the hiring department, and approval from HR. PSU’s excellent benefits package includes 95% premium paid healthcare; a generous retirement and vacation package; and reduced tuition rates for employee, spouse or dependent at any of the Oregon Public Universities.
Position Summary Responsible for all aspects of developing/maintaining a competitive women’s tennis program in the Big Sky Conference. This includes, but is not limited to: coaching, recruiting, and counseling student-athletes; managing daily administrative duties of the program; fundraising and public relations; supervising volunteer assistants; and adhering to all rules and regulations of the university, NCAA, and Big Sky Conference.
Minimum Qualifications - Minimum three years collegiate coaching/elite coaching/collegiate competition or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated excellence in professional/interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to the total welfare of women student-athletes.
-Demonstrated experience working with diverse student-athletes.
- Demonstrated commitment to developing a successful women’s tennis program both academically and athletically.
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree

Total Compensation Range & Benefits Statement The starting annual salary rate for this position will be between $42,994 and $49,200.
