INSTRUCTOR OF CLINICAL UROLOGY
JOB DESCRIPTION
Function as a member of the full-time faculty of the Department of Urology reporting directly to the Chairman with the following responsibilities:
Clinical duties:
Function as an attending physician at University of Miami Hospital and Clinics, University of Miami Hospital, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and the Veteran Affairs Hospital including responsibility for coverage of inpatient and outpatient cases and operating room supervision of residents as well as outpatient clinics in the Ambulatory Care Center.
Provide general urology in-patient consultations as required.
Provide emergency on-call coverage for Urology services at all four facilities stated above.
Provide outpatient clinic duties at UM PAC or/and satellite clinics.
Fellowship Training:
Non-accredited training curriculum.
Fellowship program certification issued upon completion.
Requirements:
M.D. from accredited medical school, completion of approved urology residency training program, licensed or eligible for Florida license to practice medicine, board-certified/board-eligible in urology.
