Volt is immediately hiring a Quality Manager in Topsfield, MA.
As a Quality Manager, you will:
Establish and maintain quality assurance standards, procedures, and controls
Coordinate receiving inspection, in-process, and final inspection efforts
Work directly with manufacturing department to schedule and control inspection activities - enforce requirements as specified by raw materials, ingredients, products, package specifications and regulatory agencies
Supervise and train all inspection personnel to commercial and military inspections
Attend production meetings and assign priorities to all levels of inspection review
Review and approve test data, repair evaluations, certificates of compliance, and other customer required documentation
Responsible for final disposition of discrepancy reports, material correction notices and source inspection reports
Review and approve work orders for completeness and accuracy
Work cross functionally with engineering, design/drafting, test, manufacturing, and purchasing
Ensures that all incoming material is properly accounted for and dispositioned
Initiate the shipping process for final products
This is a FULL-TIME, DIRECT HIRE opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
IPC-A-610 certification required
10 years' experience in quality assurance and 5+ years supervisory/management experience.
Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment.
Excellent communications skills, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Costpoint, ERP systems, Microsoft Office proficiency
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
