Nemours is seeking a Medical Imaging 3D Printing & Post Processing Technologist (PART-TIME), to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Orlando, Florida.

Located in Orlando, Fla., Nemours Children's Hospital is the newest addition to the Nemours integrated healthcare system. The Medical Imaging 3D Printing/Post Processing Technologist will contribute to the delivery of care by providing specialized knowledge and assistance to Radiologists and Physicians.

The role will assist assigned division(s) and department(s) in analyzing imaging data including the performance of three-dimensional image reconstruction data and complex anatomical and functional analyses. Archives images and functional numerical data for physician review. Prepares and delivers 3D models to aid in diagnosis/surgical guidance. Prepares preliminary clinical reports and clinical quality assurance reports.

Operates and maintains software such as Materialise 3D Printing, Terarecon, Syngovia, Circle, VSI Hololens, Freeform, and other 3D research software. Operates and maintains hardware such as a variety of 3D printers.


  • Compile, organize, summarize, prepare, and/or analyze 3D data for designated projects and report appropriately. May research issues related to assigned projects. Distribute models/post-processed data to the necessary parties. May provide 3D data to assist with audits and/or maintain records. May process and distribute ad-hoc requests for information as requested. May participate in data or database management.
  • Demonstrate advanced competence in 3D post-processing/modeling. Effectively communicate with team members and contribute to their growth by sharing knowledge, experience, and skills; stay abreast of changes in key systems; serve as an expert resource to the department, and/or hospital in specific area(s).
  • Maintain currency in the field of 3D/ AR/VR/MR, including maintenance of any necessary licensure/certification, through continuing education, conferences, meetings, in-services, networking, literature, and/or seminars. Attend all mandatory training sessions. Implement obtained knowledge/skills into one's work, the department, and/or the organization. Assume responsibility for one's professional growth and development. May participate in internal/external professional committees, agencies, councils, and/or activities.


Job Requirements

  • Associate's Degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of CT or MRI experience required. 5+ years preferred.
  • CT or MRI registry required.
  • Florida State Radiation License required.
  • Cardiac and 3D post-processing experience is preferred.
  • 3D printing experience is preferred.
