RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Communications Specialist in Minneapolis, MN.

Primary Duties:
Executes communications strategy to fulfill major company goals:

• Fluently weave key marketing messages and brand positioning into creative storytelling


• Interviews: Use own words to translate complex ideas and concepts into customer-friendly calls to action


• Well-versed in AP writing style and excellent editing skills


• Thrives in an environment that requires daily interface with cross-functional teams throughout the larger organization


• Write for multiple external audiences and mediums, including digital, social and print communications

Implements sound processes:

• Independently handles multiple projects and meets critical deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment


• Tracks and prioritizes tactics and deadlines


• Maintains communications performance metrics; Presents result to internal stakeholders


• Creates system for ensuring accountability to all internal stakeholders, including goal setting, feedback and sign-off from the business and timely notification of project execution

Understands business objectives:

• Commitment to the ethical development to high-quality work that embodies the company's core values and adheres to corporate and compliance guidelines


• Focus on continuous improvement; Engage key support services and business areas for opportunities to enhance outcomes

REQUIREMENTS:

• The ideal candidate is a corporate communications professional with hands-on experience interviewing, researching and writing print, email and digital editorial content for an external audience


• Loves, loves, loves to write


• Can lead and advise a wide range of individuals and groups on editorial best practices


• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills


• Team player


• Results- and service-oriented with a passion for creativity and innovation


• Experience building email, web and/or social media communication strategies that leverage CRM systems is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
