Vertiv, a global leader in network power solutions, seeks a Sr. Financial Analyst, Consolidations & Reporting at its Westerville, OH, headquarter location. The position reports to the Director - Global FP&A and joins a team accountable for enterprise level financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate is committed to root cause analysis that delivers insight, not just information, and regularly displays an inquisitiveness that craves continuous learning and drives continuous improvement.
This position will be located at our Corporate HQ's in Westerville, Ohio.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Consolidate regional budget & forecast submissions to provide Global view of financial performance
Leverage business insights gained in review and analysis to improve business forecasting and the accuracy of business forecasts
Special projects including M&A integration support, process optimization and financial system implementation support
Support the complete integrity of Vertiv financial information through vigilant accounting and reporting accuracy
Assist in the preparation of FP&A related SOX controls
Review functional activities to identify opportunities and leverage technology for process improvements
Perform ad hoc analysis, reporting, and other tasks as requested from various Corporate Finance teams
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting background preferred but not required
3-5+ years of finance or accounting experience
Experience in large multi-national company preferred
Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Strong analytical skills, including ability to think about complex issues using scientific/critical thinking approach to solve problems and make sound judgments
Strong communication skills, including the ability to discern from available data what should be pertinent to management
Ability to communicate effectively with non-Finance business liaisons
Profoundly inquisitive with the desire to consistently exceed expectations
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools
Experience with Oracle, Hyperion Essebase or PowerBI a plus
