Join our expanding team at Watson Metal Masters as a Shop Helper! As we experience rapid growth, we're on the lookout for committed individuals eager to build their careers.
As a vital member of the production team, you will contribute significantly to our operations. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support for the operations in the shop, flexibility is key. Including a wide range of diverse activities and helping the product flow run smoothly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Build wooden crates and skids, palletizing equipment for shipment.
Assist with shop clean up, including emptying dumpsters with forklifts.
Ability to run overhead cranes.
Grinding.
Load equipment for shipment.
Unload raw material and freight loads.
Assist shipping.
Assist shop floor with various tasks.
May be asked to perform other duties as needed.
Gather parts and materials for jobs.
Maintain product flow throughout the production floor.
Wash tanks, peel protective film off tanks.
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or GED, preferred.
Specialized Knowledge and Experience
2 years of manufacturing and experience preferred
Forklift experience preferred
Demonstrate ability to accurately read a tape measure
Use various hand tools

Requires the verbal skills to probe and ask questions to ensure understanding of requirements and participate in teams.
Must be able to interact professionally, appropriately, and courteously with customers, co-workers and other outside parties.
