The Physician Assistant maintains the standards of professional practice and demonstrates competence for patient care through continuous assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care and education. The Physician Assistant is responsible for providing medical care as delegated by the physician.



Qualifications

Bachelor of Arts or Science. Graduate of AMA accredited physician assistant program. Minimum of one year experience as a physician assistant, preferably in a clinical setting. The licensure required is to be currently licensed and registered as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts This requires a national certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants as a qualification.
