The Opportunity

We are seeking a Full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to support the Cardiology & Primary Care suite onsite Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 6:00pm. We ideally aim to have our clinical support staff members working 1:1 or 1:2 with assigned providers, but they do cross-cover, rotate, and collaborate with other providers as needed. They can see upwards of 20+ patients per day.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring efficient patient flow through the office

  • Assisting during office visits (rooming/vitals, EKGs, examinations, procedures, immunizations, and treatments as directed)

  • Performing clinically appropriate tasks related patient panel management (administrative support, phone calls, test results, prior authorizations, coordination of care, etc.)

  • Maintaining neat, clean, stocked, and safe exam rooms and patient care areas

  • Interacting with patients and their families in a professional and courteous manner consistent with their needs.
