Ensures weekend operational functions and activities are completed and provides guidance to administrative staff and clinicians on the weekend team. Ensure appropriate utilization of high quality home care services, maximize staffing mix, and participate in case conferences, triage incoming customer contacts, support management activities, perform supervisory visits. Provide management oversight of LPNs, per-diem Clinicians and Schedulers. Precept and educate new weekend staff and act as a mentor and resource. May provide direct patient care as needed.
Qualifications
Education/Degree Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Rehab discipline desirable
• 3- 5 years progressively responsible nursing experience with at least 2 years in community health
• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
Licensure, Certifications or Registration
Required: Current RN license in Massachusetts
