CommunityHospitalPsychiatric Clinicians will complete level of care assessments and provide recommendations for patients who present to an emergency department and/or medical inpatient unit of a contracted hospital per the specifications of each individual service contract. This position requires a strong clinical emphasis in assessment and evaluation and a familiarity with area services available within all levels of care. Employment at McLean Hospital is contingent upon a successful CORI (Criminal Background Check), National Background Check and clearance from the Occupational Health Department.
Qualifications
Massachusetts Independent Clinical License Required:
Social Work: LICSW
Mental Health Counseling : LMHC
Psychology: Licensed Psychologist
Education Psychology- Ph.D., Psy.D or EdD
Experience Minimum of two years post degree experience in conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations. Experience in crisis and/or emergency clinical settings preferred. Experience in a managed care environment and the capacity to work collaboratively with managed care organizations. Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary staff within the context of the emergency department and the community at large. Successful candidate must possess basic computer skills in order to use a variety of electronic systems to access and/or maintain personal employment-related data, satisfy required annual trainings, and use job-specific applications.
