About the role: What Sales Training contributes to BD
Sales Training is responsible for developing, designing, and delivering sales training. The goal is to improve knowledge and competencies around the execution of business unit and sales team objectives to improve sales skills, MMS solution knowledge and acumen, sales process understanding and adoption, and to increase sales effectiveness and high impact results.

Key responsibilities will include:
Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of acute and non-acute care health care market (with a focus on pharmacy workflows/responsibilities and healthcare medication dispensing management), healthcare challenges, market trends, BD/MMS value proposition(s), sales process, and adult training/learning principles
Consults and partners with MMS Training Team members, sales management, sales representatives, marketing, clinical and other BD departments on training needs and execution
Designs, develops, and executes sales training for; sales and clinical sales new hires, advanced training for entire sales force, additional BD associates
Assesses and inspect knowledge and skill level of MMS sales force. Creates action plan to address and close gaps
Utilizes advanced tools, methodologies, and systems for training; delivers advanced level of in person classroom and remote training and facilitation
Provides training on Medication Management Solutions (MMS) Sales Process, sales methodology, our solutions, and the healthcare industry to the MMS sales force
Recognizes and identifies key impacts, measures, and methods to improve sales skills, resulting in improved results
Uses deep subject matter/functional expertise, influence, and process skills to help internal/external customers.
Applies knowledge of the customer's business and industry to develop optimal training solutions
About you:
Demonstrates subject matter expertise of/in
1.) Acute and non-acute healthcare environment
2.) Capital sales processes and execution
3.) Clinical skill (pharmacy)
4.) Sales training/adult learning principles
5.) MMS solutions, products, and processes. Primarily the Pyxis Dispensing Solutions
Education and experience required:
Experience in Medication Management with an understanding of med management workflows, process, and solutions
5+ years capital sales or clinical sales background preferred
Experience in sales team member training and/or coaching, or relatable education experience
Minimum 7+ year relevant work experience
Excellent oral and presentation/communication skills are required
Able to spend ~ 2-3 weeks/quarter in San Diego
