Location: Brooklyn, New York
The Manager, Faculty Engagement & Teaching Innovation supports the Senior Director of Digital Learning and Teaching Innovation within the Digital Learning department at NYU Tandon. Manages partnerships with NYU Tandon faculty, academic departments, programs, and community to encourage and promote innovative teaching strategies and technologies for learning. Provides consultative training and project-based support services to faculty, instructional staff, and administration in the use of educational technology and learning solutions.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree Instructional Technology or related field
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree Instructional Technology, Curriculum and Instruction or related field from an accredited institution
Required Experience:
5+ years experience with instructional design, supervision, project management and or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience:
3+ years Experience working in higher education
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Detailed knowledge of technology, including experience with digital media, web-based hardware and software, course management systems, Smart classroom technologies, social networking expertise, asynchronous and synchronous educational delivery and digital teaching materials. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate effectiveness in designing, developing, and delivering online content for courses. Strong interpersonal, writing and communication skills.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $82,000.00 to USD $102,00.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
