Position Summary

This position will create daily web-based content for Control Center's "News & Insights" section, which involves supporting our lead designer and lead developer in content creation. You will evaluate information from various sources and collaborate closely with our designers to produce the digital content for Control Center. As a member of our digital content team, you will be hands-on, turning user needs, business objectives, and technology capabilities into best-in-class experience across multiple digital platforms. You should have a professional understanding of user experience (UX) best practices and a proficiency for presenting layouts and visualizations to clearly highlight information for our customers.

Essential Functions

• Deliver high-quality visual designs, with a focus on using Figma to conceptualize, prototype, and execute ready-to-market UIs.


• Support our front-end UI development work in React, HTML, and CSS.


• Use our Contentful content management system to create, edit, and publish content to our QA and Production environments.


• Test all content prior to publication and ensure all text and design is presented as expected.


• Stay up to date with design trends, best practices, and new capabilities, and use this knowledge to push our designs forward.


• Participate in UX design and prototyping sessions to create wireframes for feature development.


• Develop all materials in a detailed and timely manner.


• Collaborate in an Agile environment and liaison with team members to effectively communicate business requirements and expectations.


• Identify opportunities and implement process improvements to enhance team effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years proven track record as a successful analyst/researcher.


• 3-5 years proven track record as a successful UX/UI designer/developer.


• Expertise with user interface design.


• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe CC, Spline 3D.


• In-depth knowledge of content management systems like Contentful.


• Familiarity with JSON scripting.


• An eye for design detail.


• Organized and ability to multi-task.


• Passionate and energetic attitude.


• Motivated to successfully meet deadlines.


• Proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
