McKesson is seeking a Sr Financial Analyst of FP&A to lead financial planning and analysis responsibilities and support our Plasma & Biologics product line, including COVID vaccine distribution. This person will lead month-end close and forecast activities, annual budgeting and long-range planning. This individual will have a key role in managing and improving the analytical standards for reporting and modeling KPIs. A total package of qualities to be successful in the role will include strong financial acumen, data analysis, and project management skills to inform impactful decisions across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Monthly close and forecasting including production of management reports and variance analysis to provide insight on results
Development of the annual budget and long-term plan
Work with key partners to understand market dynamics and build financial models
Influence stakeholders
Perform other duties as required
Minimum Requirement
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
Critical Skills
3-5+ years accounting, finance, financial analytics or similar experience
Must have strong analytical, financial modeling, and quantitative skills
Working knowledge of accounting principles
Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills
Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated process improvement skills
Highly motivated self-starter; ability to initiate and manage projects with minimal supervision
Ability to navigate through complex issues, interpret and transform financial data into
recommendations to senior leadership
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
4 year degree in finance or related field or equivalent experience MBA or CPA preferred

$78,400 - $130,600
