ABOUT THE ROLE

The Associate Manager, eCommerce - Target is responsible for driving the Target eCommerce business, driving key initiatives across the portfolio, and delivering accelerated ecommerce sales, while supporting execution of the strategic commercial plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Drive eCommerce business in partnership with Sales Leads:

    • Integrate with each category lead across Home Cleaning, Home Storage, Pest Control and Air Care, driving relevant ecommerce executions in tandem within store plans

    • Support commercialization initiatives across Target.com



  • Ensure Content quality and accuracy:

    • Ensure Product Detail Page Content is accurate and up to date, driving best in class content scores

    • Ensure Innovation launches are available for consumers across all Target platforms at launch



  • Own Paid Search strategy in partnership with media agency, customer marketing partners and sales leads

  • Support shopper marketing program development with customer marketing, aggregate budgets and spending to ensure efficiency and delivery of customer commitments

  • Engage with agency partners on digital Strategy and Execution

  • Attend industry conferences to deepen expertise in digital commerce technologies and identify capabilities to accelerate growth over the next 3-5 years

  • Partner with HQ Ecommerce Accelerator team to bring best practices and insights to Target buyers and Sales leads

  • Develop strong wiring with key stakeholders at the Customer, inside SCJ Marketing and on the Sales team

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING


  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of relevant sales/ecommerce experience, or advanced degree and 3+ years of relevant sales/ecommerce experience

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS


  • Technical Skills

    • Understanding of eCommerce fundamentals, including but not limited to principles of assortment, search, content, and digital marketing

    • Understanding of New Product Development Commercialization Process



  • Leadership Skills

    • Ability to present to customers and lead the business on behalf of SCJ

    • Ability to collaborate and influence across functions

    • Ability to adapt to changing work and customer demands

    • Ability to deal with ambiguity

    • Entrepreneurial spirit



JOB REQUIREMENTS


  • Full-time position in Target office, Minneapolis, MN

  • 10% Travel

  • The individual assuming this position may need to relocate for future opportunities

  • Remote work is available once per week for eligible employees

  • This role is not eligible for relocation
