About the Role:

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing financial data and creating reports to assist management in planning, reporting and forecasting financial information.

You Will:


  • Apply advanced financial analysis and cost accounting principles to perform complex financial analysis in support of strategic decision making.

  • Assist in preparing the organization’s operating budget which includes a written financial plan and preparing data visualizations.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create well informed financial reports and provide guidance and viables solutions to financial partners on forecasts.

  • Prepare routine and ad-hoc variance analysis in the form of written reports, presentations, tables, charts, and graphs.

  • Identify inefficiencies in processes, propose best practices, and implement chosen solutions.

  • Participate in specialized projects, providing advanced analysis and perspectives to workgroups.

You Have:


  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • 5-8 years professional experience in a financial analysis, financial reporting, or cost accounting environment.

  • Advanced/comprehensive knowledge of cost accounting, financial analysis, and/or financial reporting.

  • Ability to use financial applications to design and troubleshoot reports for self and others.

  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements.

Notes:

This position may be filled at various levels based on candidate's qualifications as determined by the department.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S and the role is not available for sponsorship.

This role allows for the employee to work in a hybrid manner with some work conducted onsite at the Federal Reserve work location and some work conducted remotely.  For this specific role, 2 days per week of work can be conducted in the office. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
