Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Sales Support Engineer to join our team. The location is flexible. The Sales Support Engineer will support the Electronic Gases & Specialty Products (EG&SP) sales organization and will be responsible for performing support activities for the director of sales, EG&SP account managers and for customers directly. The Sales Support Engineer's key focus areas will be to provide account management assistance, new business development assistance, sales research and analytics both for the market and specific customer needs. The Sales Support Engineer will report to the senior account manager and work closely with professionals of the Linde EG&SP sales organization. Responsibilities • Responsible for support the Senior Account manager(s) within an assigned electronic customer. • Help support the sales professionals in driving electronic gas sales through active and direct customer interaction to understand the opportunities within Linde's product/solution portfolio. • Develop and implement plans to increase penetration within define customer(s). • Develop expert understanding of product specification, design, configuration, performance and applications and support customer(s) with product and proposal presentations that include engineering solutions to meet customer's needs. • Participate in proper forecasting analysis and monitor performance against goals on a regular basis. • Collect data on competitive products, pricing, and marketing activities. Provide data to Linde Senior Management to enable Linde to create marketing to defend and take market share. • Work directly with key and relevant support Divisions within the Linde Organization to ensure deliverables are met to customer(s). • Work with the Financial Team in assuring the right financial model is developed to secure CAPEX funds. • Support Project execution based on specific timelines, able to work with different support functions in executing within the projects budget and timeline. • Able to understand technical information on manufacturing products, applications, and development at customer(s). • Strong Analytical background, and able to develop sound knowledge on statistical process control and quality systems. • Understand the Semiconductor production process, gases, chemistry, and materials applications. • Other duties as assigned. - Bachelor's Degree in engineering field required. - • Work experience in the industry and/or sales preferred. - • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, computer systems and applications. - • Strong analytical background and ability to develop sound knowledge on statistical process control and quality systems. - • Be innovative, flexible, committed, ambitious, and determined. - • Must have a positive attitude, be willing to quickly adapt to changing situations, and have strong communications skills. - • Demonstrates commitment to high level of operational discipline and compliance to standard work procedures.
