About this role:
The Technical Writer will be part of the support team on a Government Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Program, and will have a working experience in technical writing of software documentation and be able to deliver high quality documentation and paying attention to detail. The position requires experience with computer-based systems, and can gather, analyze, and compose technical information required for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, reports.

Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Program is a part of Zero Trust approach to enhance cybersecurity protections. The Programs priority is to look at strengthening its overall cybersecurity standing with improved IT infrastructure using an upgraded DLP posture to enhance the Departments mission. The DLP solution(s) will prevent potential data breaches / data exfiltration by monitoring, detecting, and blocking sensitive data - regardless of its location, by utilizing DLP software and or hardware in alignment with Zero Trust Model/Architecture, and governance guidelines.

Position Responsibilities:
Producing high-quality documentation that is appropriate for its intended audience Gathering, analyzing, and composing technical information required for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, reports, etc. Editing functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents. Conducting research and ensuring the use of proper technical terminology. Translating technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel. Working with internal teams on documentation requirements Writing easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
