Primary Purpose
Develop the daily activities of the kitting departmentUse input from the customer on kitting priorities, the backlog report, what kitting components are available and the current line capacity to develop the weekly scheduleFollow the same process daily to update the weekly schedule as necessaryAdditional duties include publishing daily status updates on current projects and adding new projects with a start time
Key Accountabilities
Scheduling the kitting activities in order to fulfill customer demandAssociate will communicate daily with the customer to understand kitting prioritiesPerform additional duties as assigned by management

Must understand WMS & ERP & Oracle systemsAssociate will need a working knowledge of the kitting processExcellent communication skills, both written and oralMust be well-versed in Microsoft Office SuiteA good understanding of warehouse operationsNeeds to understand a production environment and monitor performanceAbility to work with minimum supervisionWork well under pressure and able to meet tight deadlinesAbility to relate to people at any level of business and managementInnovative and effective problem- solverAbility to work specified shiftAbility to work for the set wage amountAbility to follow work procedures and safety rulesAbility to read, understand, and follow directions/instructionsAbility to perform simple math calculationsHave appropriate eye, hand and foot coordination to properly use various equipment and/or toolsAbility to operate various office equipment as neededDetail oriented for quality of repackagingAbility to identify and locate product which requires reading, counting, and printingAbility to operate various material handling equipmentAbility to mount and dismount forklift through the duration of the shift which requires bending, stretching, stepping, reaching, climbing, and stoopingAbility to use automated inventory control equipmentAbility to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shiftAbility to load/unload, lift/move equipment/product which may weigh up to 100 poundsAbility to operate spreadsheet software applicationsAbility to operate word processing applicationsFamiliar with Topex or Warehouse Management SystemsForklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program is required within the first 30 days of employmentAbility to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with associates and/or customersAbility to meet material handling equipment certification requirementsAbility to identify, locate, and disburse productAbility to learn technical material to accomplish necessary objectivesAbility to interpret materialAbility to write numeric and alphanumeric characters
