Program Supervisor for Partial Hospitalization Program and Day Treatment at Glade Run Lutheran Services

Job Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:


  1. A graduate degree in psychiatry, psychology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, education or a graduate degree in the field of human services plus at least 3 years direct care experience with children or adolescents in the following Child and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) systems: Mental Health, Education, Special Education, Children and Youth, Drug and Alcohol, Juvenile Justice, Health Care and Vocational Rehabilitation, including one (1) years of supervisory experience in any program of the CASSP system; OR a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Anthropology, History, Criminal Justice, Theology, Counseling, Education, Juvenile Justice. Must have 5 years of direct care experience with children or adolescents in the following Child and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) systems: Mental Health, Education, Special Education, Children and Youth, Drug and Alcohol, Juvenile Justice, Health Care and Vocational Rehabilitation, including two (2) years of supervisory experience in any program of the CASSP system

  2. If graduate level degree, be licensed eligible or professional license preferred (LPC, LSW, LCSW)

  3. Understands program regulations and has a proven track record of following program policies and procedures.

  4. Familiar with providing group therapy and teaching CBT/DBT skills

  5. Ability to lead, motivate, and coach others in a fast-paced environment.

  6. Experience working with an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.

  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  8. Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

  9. Must identify with the agency's Mission Statement and support the agency's Core Values.

  10. Must have acceptable PA State Police Clearance, PA Child Abuse History Clearance and FBI clearance.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS A DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:


  • CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Interventions

  • Group Therapy

  • Clinical based practices including DSM-V, clinical interventions, etc.

  • Coaching practices

  • Department of Human Services regulations

  • Sanctuary Model of Organizational Leadership

  • Principles of trauma-informed care

  • Juvenile Justice System familiarity

POSITION SPECIFIC CORE COMPETENCIES AND JOB EXPECTATIONS:


  1. Provide Therapy/Group Therapy as needed during times of employee absences or PTO.

  2. Be directly on-site at PHP and DT managing time between both programs.

  3. Co-facilitate supervisions of PHP and DT staff with Clinical Director.

  4. Provide some training related to clinical approaches and job skill sets.

  5. Support the Director in co-leading weekly team meetings to ensure that organizational goals and operating policies are communicated, understood and followed by all staff.

  6. Collaborate with HR and Quality and Compliance departments to monitor staff training compliance.

  7. Schedule intakes with potential clients for PHP and DT.

  8. Audit clients charts on a monthly basis to ensure compliance with regulations.

  9. Attend and help facilitate monthly ISP meetings.

  10. Prepare for and attend weekly Treatment Team meetings and collaborate with Director, Psychiatrist, and RN; will help oversee this process when Director is unavailable.

  11. Will lead/attend weekly Children’s Treatment Team to collaborate with other Glade Run programs for step-down services.

  12. Conduct individual and group professional licensing supervision (if applicable).

  13. Participate, monitor, and supervise assigned clinical interns when applicable.
