Where does theProgram/Project Managerfit in?
As the Program/Project Manager, you will be expected to lead planning and implementation of assigned project from quoting to production. This will include process planning, capital equipment, facility requirements, tooling, error and mistake proofing, and any other required materials for assigned projects. You will work closely with customers and suppliers in order to meet project goals and deadlines, following up on all aspects of a given project from start to finish.
As the operation is set-up, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing production operations.
What you can expect as our nextProgram/Project Manager:
Plan & drive strategic priorities.Ensure the strategy (customer requirements / timeline / milestones) is well- communicated with stakeholders for alignment and meeting objectives.Key point of contact to the client's program leader/technical counterpartAssist in coordination of major program functions as outlined in Axiom Plastics APQP process 5 phase - (program plan / prototype-part development / process development / product and process validation / feedback assessment and corrective actions)Monitor and manage all key dates and timing charts as required.Plan and implement facility and manufacturing equipment with assistance from plant manager.Identify roadblocks and recommend appropriate resolutions.Manage information both externally (customer) and internally (Axiom Plastics) as required by each project.Responsible for timely communication of information and customer interactionAssist in ensuring successful program launch on time & on budget.Ensure to keep management updated on program status and communicate escalations as required.Assist with CI (Continuous Improvement) Initiatives for current systems and processes.Ensure compliance of IATF systems and proceduresResponsible for overseeing & managing production operations & applicable staff once production goes liveAbility to travel for required training/support as required to all North American divisions (Canada, U.S.A & Mexico)Additional Duties as assigned.
Are you our nextProgram/Project Manager?
Post-secondary degree in Engineering or related fieldMinimum 5 to 7 years experience in program/project management (automotive industry)Ability to communicate in Korean is requiredImpeccable oral and written communication & presentation skills, with the ability to interface with senior management.Strong relationship building skills (internal & external stakeholders)Customer advocate- able to effectively communicate client needs to the organization.Proactive view to identifying & driving financial benefits for our clients.Proven successful launches of previous programs (on time & on budget)Ability to keep customer and program on track with effective conflict resolution.Ability to think & execute strategically and is results oriented.Self-motivated individual with a strong attention to detailDevelop long-term strategies for key accounts that align with corporate mandate.Proficient with MS ProjectExcellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask as required.Experience with PPAP documentation and FMEA analysis is an asset.Experience in the Automotive Industry is an asset.
