Your Team

As a Lead, Change Management on the GT Change & Learning team you will partner with product owners, delivery partners and stakeholders to improve the end-to-end change management adoption of our Agile transformation. You will be accountable for change strategy and managing delivery of change management outcomes to solve sophisticated business problems creating experiences to delight our customers! In addition to advanced expertise and experience, you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do. Location: Open to virtual location outside of the commutable Newark, NJ area.

Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day


  • Create and execute actionable change management plans to support communications, engagement, and training delivery for agile teams to help drive readiness and adoption for our agile program.

  • Serve as the change management expert to inform and drive solutions by consulting with partners and stakeholders to develop change strategy that motivates people to embrace the significant changes that are required to drive the business forward.

  • Collaborate with project and product leaders, business stakeholders, and change management leaders to define change project scope, goals, benefits, and deliverables relating to all aspects of change management, including successful adoption of mindsets and new process to support our Agile transformation.

  • Develop understanding and utilize the appropriate communication outlets, vehicles, and tools in executing communications and training.

  • Lead in crafting and delivering key messages/communications to Program Stakeholders.

  • Direct the activities of cross-functional groups to drive innovation through process improvements and challenging the status quo. Lead in defining the opportunity and implementing change to improve efficiencies/transformation via new technologies or process improvement.

  • Report out on key program details to a disparate set of stakeholders and managing how those details impact change management for tangential programs, initiatives, or projects.

  • Help manage cross team execution of the program deliverables / outcomes with minimal guidance.

  • Measure effectiveness of change interventions and evolve plans as needed to best drive adoption.

The Skills & Expertise You Bring


  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational change management, business, communications, or a related field.

  • Ability to lead independently with minimal guidance and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts and perspectives to the benefit of the organization

  • Experience with agile development methodologies

  • Knowledge of business concepts, tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business

  • Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges

  • Excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills

Advanced experience and/or deep expertise with several of the following:


  • Proven understanding of a business line or functional area

  • Expertise with stakeholder plans, leadership engagement, and employee engagement approaches.

  • Highly collaborative and consultative work style including ability to work effectively across all organizational levels.


  • Problem Solving – deep knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving interpersonal, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.


  • Effective Communications - Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.


  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking - Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.


  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail - Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.


  • Producing Results - Understanding of the criticality of getting things done in spite of current circumstances and the ability to apply assigned resources and leverage back-channel resources (individuals or teams) to achieve or exceed planned outcomes.


  • Preferred qualifications:
    • 5+ years of combined experience in the following areas: change management, IT, communications, and Agile.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $103,100.00 to $153,500.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
