Job Responsibilities

As a Bell Attendant, you will be responsible for providing prompt and efficient service to hotel guests. Your specific duties in this role will include:

• Greet incoming hotel guests upon arrival and offer to assist with luggage.

• Provide safe transportation to all guests using the hotel's shuttle vehicles.

• Valet cars for guests.

• Provide information pertaining to hours and available services of the hotel, i.e. restaurant, lounge, room service.

• Provide guests with directions and information regarding the city and immediate area.

• Coordinate luggage storage.

• Make guestroom deliveries of packages, guest valet laundry, luggage and other items accurately.

• Assist with snow removal including brushing off cars, shoveling and salting walkways as necessary.

• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of shuttle vehicles.

• Ensure proper care of hotel flags.

• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby, front entrance and surrounding areas.

Job Requirements

We are looking for a self-motivated Bell Attendant with a strong work ethic and a drive to exceed expectations. It is also important that you have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to establish rapport with guests and colleagues.


Specific qualifications for the role include:

• 1 to 3 months related experience; High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Maintain a valid New York State Class E Drivers License with no major violations.

• Solid time-management and prioritization skills

• Exceptional customer service skills
