Job Summary:


Our Operator Technician, located on site at New Boston, NH, executes actions necessary to conduct satellite operations and maintenance required to sustain the operability of communications-electronics equipment located at the Remote Tracking Stations (RTS).


Job Responsibilities:




  • Configures, operates and maintains assigned systems during satellite support, test, and maintenance activities.




  • Initiates, directs and verifies completion of all operational events during the acquisition, tracking and command functions of each operational support.




  • Performs SCR duties as required.




  • Maintains cognizance of station equipment status.




  • Assists with repairs and alignment of equipment IAW TOs/TMs or commercial manuals.




  • Assists with Preventive Maintenance Inspection (PMI) activities.




  • Maintains vehicle folders.




  • Prepares daily activity log entries in appropriate electronic systems.



Minimum Qualifications: 




  • Active Secret security clearance, or higher.




  • Must have a high school diploma.




  • Must be able to climb high ladders, work on elevated platforms and antennas.




  • Must be flexible for shift work and overtime (as required).




  • Must be able to perform strenuous physical work to include walking, lifting, pulling loads, bending, kneeling, sitting and reaching overhead.




  • Must be familiar with the use of and be able to operate electronic test equipment to include multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, frequency counters, signal generators, power meters, and data analyzers.




  • Position may require additional government certifications, as necessary.




  • Must be available to work on-site.




  • Must be able to read, write and clearly speak English.




  • Must have COMPTIA Security+ or be able to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.




Desired Qualifications:  




  • Experience working with LINUX is preferred.




  • Experience interfacing with military personnel and government customer




  • Must possess strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
