Responsibilities:
Provide electrical power system engineering and design for water/wastewater projectsDesign of low voltage electrical power distribution, motor control, VFDs, standby power, lighting systems, equipment layout, and related systemsSizing conduit and wire, laying out electrical distribution equipment, and designing lighting systemsKnowledge of water distribution and sewer collection systemsKnowledge with SCADA systemsProvide electrical specifications, drawings, and cost estimateReview and approve contractor submittals
Qualifications:
BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field5-10 years of design in water/wastewater projectsPE or ability to obtain within 1 year is requiredMust have a working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Life Safety Codes, and other related Codes.
