3M is seeking a SRLV Assembler for Lexington, Kentucky. This position is Full-Time on 1st Shift (8:00AM-4:30PM) Monday-Friday.

Job Description:   

Learn and perform simple electronic and/or mechanical SRLV tasks on assemblies such as mini-tubes, extended assemblies, etc. following specific work instructions while under direct supervision. These tasks are completed by utilizing SRLV solutions, distilled water, cottons swabs, industrial light duty wipers, ultrasonic cleaners and microscopes while working under a vent hood on basic part types of well-defined nature.

Responsibilities:   

• Complete basic training lot tasks using SRLV solutions, distilled water, cottons swabs, industrial light duty wipers, ultrasonic cleaners as directed by method sheets and blueprints while under direct supervision


• Pick & brush excess impregnant off cathode assemblies


• Prepare and dispose of SRLV solutions


• Clean incoming components


• Maintain a clean and tidy work area while following all plant rules and safety regulations.


• Operators are required to complete all training matrices before advancing to next appropriate job grade


• Participate in all safety and regulatory training needed to fulfill the duties of the position


• Follow all plant safety rules and regulations and wear PPE as required per procedures


• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or designate.

Required:  

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution 

Desired:  

• 6 months of production assembly experience in a fast-paced environment 

Pay & Benefits: 

• Pay starting at $18/hour
