The BOM Analyst / PLM Process Quality Analyst plays a key role in ensuring that the bill of material (BOM) data needed to design, build and service HP products conforms to the corporate BOM standards. They also ensure that product requirements are formatted properly and that all PLM data is classified per corporate standards. They are experts regarding how the BOM data is created/maintained in PLM, how product requirements must be written and connected to the product and proper methods regarding classification of PLM data. They understand how PLM data is used by ERP and MES and ensures that the data meets these requirements.

What You'll Be Doing



  • Controls BOM information flow throughout all global and local organizations.


  • Provides support to the organization regarding all BOM processes.


  • Reviews BOM data in PLM, ERP and MES to ensure corporate bom processes are being met.


  • Decision maker regarding BOM setup in PLM, ERP and MES.


  • Ensures BOM accuracy at 98% to achieve operational efficiencies - including planning and production.


  • Controls product requirement information flow throughout all global and local organizations


  • Ensure accuracy and formatting on product requirements.


  • Decision maker regarding Requirements Management modules in PLM.


  • Controls classification of all PLM data throughout global and local organizations


  • Ensure PLM items are being properly classified.


  • Decision maker regarding classification of all PLM data in PLM


  • Consistently models the Company Values and Expected Behaviors.


  • Other duties as assigned.





What We're Looking For



  • B.S. Degree preferred in Manufacturing, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent experience2-4 Years' Experience in an engineering related field


  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills


  • Basic MS office, presentation, or PowerPoint skills


  • PLM Experience (Teamcenter preferred)


  • ERP Experience (JDE preferred)


  • MES Experience (preferred)


  • Detailed oriented and strong creativity skills


  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment


  • Strong problem-solving skills and root cause analysis
