Location : Bedford, MA

A Day in the Life

In this exciting role as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in the Bedford facilities, you will have responsibility for supporting the manufacture of high-quality and complex capital equipment to support the Cardiac Ablation Solutions Business. In this role you will be part of a team that grows the operations capacity over 5X to support our customer needs in this newly acquired product portfolio. You will lead improvements in manufacturing quality, capacity, and stability through solving problems, developing solutions, and executing strategies.

Responsibilities for the Senior Manufacturing Engineer may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Advancing manufacturing stability through building system-based solutions
  • Developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to meet product quality requirements
  • Lean Manufacturing: Identification and elimination of manufacturing waste
  • Collaborating with Manufacturing Technicians to improve equipment stability and predictability
  • Supporting day-to-day production needs through building relationships with production teams and problem solving
  • Leading projects by defining roadmaps and coordinating efforts to achieve goals
  • Building functional expertise and coaching peers
  • Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations
  • Address quality issues, including issuing non-conformance reports and managing Corrective and Preventative Actions
  • Manage and update pFMEAs as required
  • Conduct IQ on Equipment
  • Management of manufacturing documentation including: Inspection, assembly and test procedures, BOM, router forms, part and assembly drawings

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelors degree in engineering required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience

Nice to Have


  • Medical Device or regulated industry experience
  • PCBA manufacturing knowledge-IPC 610
  • Experience Process and equipment Validation and Qualification (IQ,OQ,PQ)
  • 2 to 4 years Capital Equipment experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience understanding proper documentation/quality requirements for a regulated environment
  • Experience managing Quality System Process Documents
